SU basketball walk-on accused of sexual abuse, police say
SYRACUSE, N.Y. —
A Syracuse University basketball walk-on is accused in a sex offense case, according to Syracuse Police.
Police say an 18-year-old woman reported a man had sexual contact with her without her consent on September 15.
After an investigation, detectives charged 18-year-old Dominick Parker, of Stamford, NY, with first-degree Sexual Abuse, police said.
Parker is accused of having sexual contact with the victim while she was incapable of giving consent, investigators said. He was sent to the Onondaga County Justice Center Friday, according to police.
Parker joined the team earlier this month, according to Syracuse.com, who first reported the arrest.
