Fri, 21 Mar 2014 03:29:15 GMT — Everything is better with a win - even the bitter cold winds of Western New York. Happy Syracuse fans spilled out into Buffalo's Cobblestone District on Thursday night to celebrate Syracuse's win over Western Michigan. Syracuse University basketball players and fans had said they were hoping the NCAA Tournament could be a fresh start for the struggling Orange and the team played one of its best games of the season. Now many fans are planning on staying the weekend in Buffalo and ready to explore. Buffalo's Dinosaur-Bar-B-Que location was busy on Thursday and many Syracuse fans said they wanted to try the famous Anchor Bar wings or see Niagara Falls. Buffalo has many unique sights to see and also some strange smells. A General Mills facility across the river from the First Niagara Center makes all the Cheerios for the eastern U.S. and Lucky Charms among other cereals. Some fans said the sweet smells gave the area a unique flavor - and hoped a bowl of Cheerios would always remind them of a big Syracuse win.
