Suspect wanted for stealing clubs from two golf courses in a week

Deputies are looking for a man who is suspected of stealing golf clubs from two different golf courses in a week.

Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say a set of golf clubs was stolen from the Tuscarora Country Club located on Howlett Hill Road on September 4.

Deputies say a man reported that he set his golf clubs near the entrance to the Pro Shop. When he returned about 10 minutes later, he said his golf clubs were gone.

The suspect is described as a heavy set, bald, white male who is approximately 40-years-old and medium height. He was reportedly wearing a light colored shirt and shorts.

Deputies say the suspect was seen leaving the area in a newer, silver vehicle with a sunroof.

Two days later, on September 6, deputies say Cicero Police were called to Northern Pines Golf Course on Route 31 regarding stolen golf clubs.

The victim reported that he turned his back to his golf bag for a minute and then discovered his clubs were gone.

Deputies say the same subject vehicle was seen at both golf courses.
