On Monday evening, police were drawn to the Taft Road Postal Facility - the call came in as a suspicious package. The Onondaga County 911 center says it does not know who made the call for help - but dispatchers do indicate that this is happening out of an abundance of caution. One dispatcher told CNYcentral, "Everyone is on alert because of the bombings in Boston."
Update at 10:30 p.m.: The Onondaga County bomb squad vehicle is on the scene, but authorities are not revealing what exactly drew them to the postal facility.
Update at 11:20 p.m.: According to police, suspicious package contains ordinary household items.
