Syracuse man charged after crash, fight with driver in Delaware
BRIDGEVILLE, Del. (AP) -- A Syracuse man is facing charges after police say he hit a car, then fought with the car's driver on a median in Delaware.
Delaware State Police said in a statement Monday that 39-year-old Jason Reed of Syracuse got irritated with a driver going the speed limit in the left lane. As Reed passed the car, police say he made an abrupt lane change and hit it. The car traveled onto the center median and stopped.
Police say Reed stopped and confronted the driver of the car and their argument turned physical. The driver of the car forced Reed to the ground before police arrived.
Reed is charged with third-degree assault, second-degree reckless endangering, malicious mischief by motor vehicle and other offenses.
