Syracuse father accused of killing 5-month-old pleads not guilty

Nataliah Trumble

Joseph Molina, the Syracuse man accused of shaking his five-month-old daughter to death, pleaded not guilty to manslaughter.

Molina was remanded to jail on $150,000 bail.

Investigators say five-month-old Nataliah Trumble was shaken by her mother, Wanda Trumble, and Molina. The violent shaking caused brain damage in the baby, eventually leading to her death, investigators say.

Molina was shouted down by Trumbleâ??s cousin during a confrontation in November. The cousin demanded Molina tell the truth about the babyâ??s death.

Wanda Trumble was arraigned last week on reckless assault of a child and endangering the welfare of a child charges.
