Syracuse man accused of burglary in Town of Granby incident

A Syracuse man is accused of taking a truck from a Town of Granby driveway and attempting to steal from a garage in mid-April.

Deputies say Joseph M. Parker, 19, is accused of taking a 2006 Ford 150 from a driveway and crashing it on State Route 48. Itâ??s alleged that he then got out of the truck and began to walk. Deputies say Parker then entered a garage with intent to steal items.

Parker was arrested on Thursday at the Oswego County Correctional Facility.

Parker is charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

He was arraigned in the Town of Granby Court and remanded back to the Oswego County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond,
