Syracuse Police say they responded to a burglary in progress call on the 400 block of Hickok Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say the burglar ran away when he was interrupted when the resident came home.
Responding officers began checking the area, and found and detained 20-year-old Michael Priolo on the 200 block of Hastings Place who matched the suspect description.
Investigators found that Priolo was the man who ran from the Hickok Avenue home.
Detectives later linked Priolo to two other burglaries in June on Sedgwick Street. Police say Priolo lives on Sedgwick Street.
Priolo is charged with three counts of burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief and petit larceny.
Priolo was lodged in the Justice Center and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Syracuse City Criminal Court.
