Syracuse man charged in bank robbery while still recovering from fall down garbage chute

Syracuse Police have formally charged 27-year-old Robin Guthridge with robbery after they say he robbed the Chase Bank at 110 West Fayette Street on August 29.

Guthridge was charged and arraigned in his hospital room Thursday afternoon where he is still recovering from injuries he sustained after he fell about 21 stories down a garbage chute while trying to evade police.

He is being held on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
