Syracuse police have arrested a man after he fired shots on North Alvord Street on Friday evening and then hid in a nearby van.
Police responded to a shots fired call around 6 p.m. on Friday. Police had received information that a white van on the street may have been involved with the incident. Police detained the three people inside the van and discovered one of them was involved in the shots fired incident.
25 year-old Rondale Cooper is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police discovered crack cocaine and PCP in Cooper's possession while he was being taken into custody.
