Syracuse man found with $3,000 worth of marijuana, $12,000 worth of stolen sports equipment

Wed, 11 Sep 2013 12:16:07 GMT — State Police seized 12 ounces of marijuana and thousands worth of stolen sporting goods merchandise from a Syracuse man's home in earlier this week. Police say they executed a search warrant at 719 Coughlin Avenue with assistance of the Syracuse DEA office. Investigators seized 12 ounces of marijuana with a street value of about $3,000. They also sized about $12,000 worth of stolen sporting goods merchandise including trail cameras, depth and fish finders, GPS units, fishing equipment, lacrosse heads and baseball gloves. Ryan E. Finniss, age 32, was charged with Criminal Possession of marijuana and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child. He was remanded to the Onondaga County Justice Center. An investigation into the stolen property is pending.
