Syracuse man indicted for allegedly sexually abusing a child

A Syracuse man was indicted by an Onondaga County Grand Jury after allegedly sexually abusing a child in the Town of Lysander back in May.

James Lopez, 51, is charged with first degree rape, third degree intimidating a victim, endangering the welfare of a child and second degree criminal contempt.

Lopez was arrested on June 28 and held in the Onondaga County Sheriffâ??s Office Justice Center.
