Syracuse man shot in the chest while sitting in car, suspects on the loose

A Syracuse man was shot in the chest while sitting in a car with his cousin on the 500 block of W. Lafayette Avenue at about 11:25 pm Friday.
Police say 25-year-old Robert Morris Jr. was critically injured when a black man wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt fired several shots into the car, hitting him in the chest.
Police say Morris Jr. drove himself to Community General Hospital, and was taken to Upstate ICU after his injuries were deemed critical.
Police are looking for two suspects in the shooting. One is the man with the brown hooded sweatshirt who fired the semi-automatic handgun, and the other is a black man who was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt.
Officers found shell casings in Morris Jr.â??s car and on the scene.
