Syracuse police say a woman stabbed her boyfriend in the back during a domestic dispute.
Police say the call came in just before 6:30 Wednesday morning. When officers arrived at 114 McKinley Avenue, they found a 37 year old man who had been stabbed in the back.
Police say they also found a woman inside the home and identified her as Brooke Fisher, 32, of 114 McKinley Avenue.
According to police, Fisher and her boyfriend got into a verbal argument that quickly escalated into a physical dispute when Fisher stabbed her boyfriend in the back with a knife.
Police say the boyfriend, who lives in Solvay, was taken to Upstate Hospital to be treated for the non-life threatening injury.
Fisher is charged with felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
