Syracuse Nationals is gearing up for its 15th anniversary run, so expect to see lots of classic and custom cars at the State Fairgrounds, and cruising around the Syracuse area next week.
Bob McLean, who does PR for the show, says lovingly restored or rebuilt cars may be the heart of the event, but there are also live bands, specialty exhibits, lots of live music, and even a women's (non-automotive) vendor and exhibitor display.
McLean says the show, which partners with not-for-profits has pumped about 1-million dollars into the local economy.
Davern Breed also joined us on sunday's Weekend Today in Central New York, and brought his 1932 Ford Coupe (lovingly rebuilt)--he says it's his 'summertime wheels.'
Syracuse Nationals opens Friday and runs thro, July 20th. through Sunday. Their website has schedule details.
