Jones was rushed to Upstate University Hospital for emergency surgery, and remains in critical condition. The exact nature of his wounds has not been made public. Cosby was treated for a gunshot wound to the arm and released.

Police say that they have arrested a suspect, 17-year-old Jaquell Greer of Glenwood Avenue, in connection with the shootings. He has been charged with first degree assault, second degree assault, and criminal possession of a weapon, and was scheduled to be arraigned in Syracuse City Court on Friday.
