Syracuse Police have arrested two men for the murder of 36-year-old Jermaine L. Davis.
Davis was stabbed to death at about 1:20 Tuesday morning on the 1100 block of South Townsend Street. Police say 18-year-old Dondre L. Cannon and 22-year-old Daywon J. Adair approached Davis and asked him where he was from. Davis told them he wasnâ??t from anywhere and that he didnâ??t want any trouble. He then tried to get away.
Cannon and Adair cornered Davis on a porch and stabbed him several times. Davis was able to carry himself across the street where police say he fell. Davis was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police say Davis was â??minding his own businessâ?? when the two suspects attacked him.
Adair was arrested after the initial police investigation on Friday. Cannon turned himself in to detectives a short time later.
The two are charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
