Syracuse Police investigate hit-and-run on I-81
Syracuse Police are looking for anyone with information about a hit-and-run accident on Interstate 81 around 5 p.m. on Friday.
A 20-year-old man was taken to Upstate Hospital as a precautionary measure after he was rear-ended near the Clinton Street exit. He was driving south on I-81 in the middle lane when a tan-colored vehicle rear-ended him, causing his car to spin out of control and hit a guard rail, rolling over.
The tan vehicle left the scene without stopping. Anyone with information about that vehicle is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5151.
