Syracuse Police investigating the robbery of a delivery driver

Syracuse Police are investigating the robbery of a pizza delivery driver at 512 Fabius Street in Syracuse.

It happened just before 5 p.m. Wednesday.

The victim is a 51-year-old man, who is an employee of Sabatino's Pizza located at 1000 Geddes Street.

The victim brought food to 512 Fabius Street, where he was met by one of the suspects. The suspect pushed the victim into the house, which turned out be vacant.

Police say the victim was knocked to the floor, and was punched and kicked by three suspects. They stole money, pizza, wings, soda and a cell phone.

Police checked the area, but didn't find the suspects.

The victim suffered a minor cut behind his ear, and was examined by Rural Metro ambulance.
