Syracuse Police make arrest in bank robbery

Syracuse Police have arrested 54-year-old Tommie Moore of Syracuse in connection with a bank robbery on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say at around 3:20 p.m., Moore robbed the Bank of America at 100 North Salina Street, handing the teller a note demanding money.

Moore received cash and left. Police located Moore on the 500 block of James Street, approximately five minutes after the robbery, and recovered the stolen money.

Moore is charged with Robbery in the third degree, and is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center pending an arraignment on Thursday morning.
