Syracuse Police make arrest in Fage Avenue homicide

A Syracuse man was arrested for the murder of Arthur D. Bullock, 54, who was fatally shot at 142 Fage Avenue on May 31. Bullock later died at University Hospital.

Syracuse Police say they arrested of 26-year-old Lynquan Kellan, of Syracuse. He is charged with second degree murder, and second degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say Bullock walked into a robbery on his front porch of his apartment. After a struggle with Kellan, he was shot in the head. Bullock was critically injured and later died at University Hospital.

Police Chief Frank Fowler says robbery was motive for the murder.

Kellan is being held without bail at the Onondaga County Justice Center.
