Syracuse schools delayed two hours Friday morning

The Syracuse City School District has announced that the start on school on Friday will be delayed for two hours due to weather concerns.
Due to the forecast of early morning bitterly cold temperatures and predicted snowfall there will be a two hour delay for Syracuse Public and Catholic Schools on Friday, January 24, 2014
," said the district in an emailed news release.
School will begin for students two hours after the regularly scheduled school day would normally start. There will be no morning Pre-K for students participating in the half day AM Pre-K program. All staff are to report at their regular start times.
The Syracuse Academy of Science has also reported a two-hour delay Friday morning.
