The Syracuse City School District has announced that the start on school on Friday will be delayed for two hours due to weather concerns.
" Due to the forecast of early morning bitterly cold temperatures and predicted snowfall there will be a two hour delay for Syracuse Public and Catholic Schools on Friday, January 24, 2014 ," said the district in an emailed news release.
" School will begin for students two hours after the regularly scheduled school day would normally start. There will be no morning Pre-K for students participating in the half day AM Pre-K program. All staff are to report at their regular start times. "
