A Syracuse woman is arrested for stabbing a man in the chest Monday morning.
According to Syracuse Police, around 12:20 a.m. Shanorika Kersey, 18, of Syracuse stabbed Ronnie Kirkland, 20, of Syracuse in the chest after an argument in the fourth floor hallway of an apartment building located at 550 South Clinton Street.
Kirkland was transported to Upstate University Hospital where he was rushed into emergency surgery for massive bleeding.
He is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
Kersey has been charged with assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
