Taxi driver dies after crash Thursday night in Salina

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Department says Rodnay Doolittle has died after his taxi crashed into a tree on Buckley Road Thursday,


he taxi driver involved in Thursday night's crash in Salina has died, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff's office.

50-year-old Rodnay Doolittle was driving south on Buckley Road at 8:30 Thursday night when he drove off the right shoulder of the snowy road and hit a tree near the corner of Victoria Park Drive. Doolittle was pulled from the taxi and transported by ambulance to Upstate University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was the only one in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
