      The Town of Remsen hosts a parade for a champion



      The town of Remsen went out into the streets Tuesday night to celebrate Erin Hamlinâ??s Olympic victory in Sochi.



      Hamlinâ??s hometown held an impromptu parade after she took home bronze in the singles womenâ??s luge. Hamlin was the first American ever to win an Olympic medal in singles luge. Hamlin won the fifth medal for USA Luge, the first four coming in doubles races.



      Earlier Tuesday, family and friends of Hamlin gathered in the Saranac Brewery in Utica to watch her final, medal-winning run.
