Marshall Jackson

Police say they have arrested a man they believe was involved in the murder of a Utica man.

Anthony Garner was found dead after a shooting on James Street at West Street on May 25, 2011.

Utica police say they arrested 27-year-old Dominique Cook, of Utica, for his suspected role in the murder of Garner.

They arrested him at the Auburn Correctional Facility where they say he was serving time for an unrelated robbery conviction.

Police arrested Octavius Garrett, 31, for second degree murder in July. Marshall Jackson, 31, was charged and convicted of second degree murder in March.

Cook was indicted by an Oneida County Grand Jury on second degree murder charges.
