Sheriffâ??s deputies in Cortland County arrested three Dryden residents with the latest heroin-related charges in Central New York.
Police stopped a vehicle for suspicious activity while patrolling along Pendleton St. Ext. in Cortlandville. 24-year-old Andrew Overbaugh was in possession of two hypodermic needles containing opiates and provided a false name, according to deputies. He was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, obstruction of governmental administration and criminal impersonation.
Police also charged 22-year-old Megan Woodrome with criminal impersonation. Overbaugh and Woodrome were both out on active warrants in the City of Cortland and were arraigned in Town of Cortlandville Court.
A third passenger, Andrew Clark, was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and released on an appearance ticket. The driver, Travis Bell, was ticketed for a suspended license.
