Three charged with bringing crack cocaine from Utica to Jefferson County
Three people from Utica are charged in a crack cocaine bust in Jefferson County.
The arrests stem from a 9 month joint investigation by the State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team and the Metro-Jefferson Drug Task Force. They were assisted by the New York New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
36-year-old Roy Diggs and 20-year-old Keron Gordon are charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy.
34-year-old Luemetcher Diggs is charged with conspiracy.
Investigators say the three suspects were involved in the transportation of crack cocaine from the Utica area to Jefferson County. Police say Roy Diggs and Keron Gordon would sell the crack cocaine at various locations. They say the suspects had an established delivery route from Oneida County to Jefferson County, making numerous trips each week.
