      Three in custody as Oswego Police investigate meth house

      Thursday afternoon's discovery of what investigators believe was a meth lab inside a home in Oswego marks at least the third such discovery in the Port City since May.

      Investigators say they have three people in custody after a raid on a home at 116 East 11th Street in Oswego.

      Police arrived on the scene at 4:20 p.m. and as of Thursday evening were still there doing decontamination work which will allow them to investigate inside. The names of the people taken into custody has not been revealed by police.

      43-year-old Keith R. Smith, of 116 East 11th Street (front apartment), was arrested and charged with felony criminal possession of a controlled substance and felony unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.

      40-year-old Jamie M. Smith, of 116 East 11th Street (apartment #2), was arrested and charged with felony conspiracy.

      32-year-old Lisa M. Smith, of 116 East 11th Street (apartment #2), was arrested and charged with felony conspiracy.

      All three suspects are being held at the Oswego Police Department pending arraignment in Oswego City Court.

      Oswego's other recent meth cases are as follows:

      In May a man was arrested after police found evidence of a meth lab at 120 Liberty Street.

      In July police said they were investigating a possible meth lab at 11 Gregory Street - but they have not announced any arrests.
