State Police in Fulton were called to a home on Phinney Road in Granby for a burglary in progress at about 12:45 pm on Friday, October 4.
Troopers say a woman came home and found three men had broken in. She called 911 and then confronted the men. A struggle ensued and one of the suspects, 20-year-old Jesse Walden, hit the woman in the head with a bottle of wine he was trying to steal, according to troopers.
The victim was able to keep the men in the house until State Police arrived.
Jessie Walden and 20-year-old Stephen Hagen, both of Fulton, and 17-year-old Jonathon Tanner, of Granby, were arrested and charged with felony burglary. Walden was also charged with assault, for hitting the woman with the bottle. She had a cut on her head from the attack and was treated at Oswego Hospital.
All three men are being held in Oswego County Jail on $7,500 cash bail/$15,000 bond.
