Three men arrested for Federal Credit Union robbery in Rome
Three Utica men are in jail in connection to the armed robbery of an Access Federal Credit Union in Rome in August.
After a three-month investigation into the robbery, police arrested 20 year-old Shakeal Hendricks, 18 year-old Taiquan Howard, and 54 year-old Robert Hendricks for the crime.
All three were arraigned in Federal Court in Syracuse and are currently being held.
The investigation into the robbery is still ongoing and could result in more arrests in the future. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Utica police, and New York State police all assisted Rome police with the investigation.
