Three people killed in Afton home fire

Three people are dead after a fire engulfed a mobile home at 103Warren Lane in the Town of Afton around 11:38 p.m. Saturday night.

Firefighters found the mobile home completely engulfed in flames. It took firefighters about half an hour to extinguish the fire.

Three people were discovered dead inside the home's bedrooms.

Officials believe smoking materials near the couch in the living room started the fire. There were also no working smoke alarms inside the home.

The three victims are 11-year-old Craig Gohl, 45-year-old Nathan Herbert, and 54-year-old Anna Ebert. They all lived in the home.

The investigation into the fire remains ongoing.
