Three Ithaca women are facing charges after authorities say they used their children to help them steal from a Wal-Mart.
Cortland County Sheriff??s Deputies were called to the Wal-Mart at 819 Bennie Road in Cortlandville after employees reported that three women left the store without paying for several items.
Investigators say 24-year-old Brionna D. Dilbert, 29-year-old Jennifer L. Zulu and 26-year-old Lakitta S. Hardison used their children to help steal the merchandise. Deputies say the kids pushed the cart past the register. The kids were ages three to eight.
The three women were charged with petit y, conspiracy and four counts of endangering the welfare of a child. They were arraigned and released, with a future court date of August 20.
