In spite of injury, Tiger Woods will still attend the Notah Begay III challenge, according to the Turning Stone Casino.
Woods removed his name from Ryder Cup consideration this week due to lingering issues with his back.
Woodsâ?? doctors advised him not to play or practice in order to give his back muscles time to rest. Tiger stresses that this is not related to the back injury that kept him out of last yearâ??s NB3 Challenge.
The NB3 Challenge, which takes place on August 27 at the Turning Stoneâ??s Atunyote Golf Course, will still feature Woods, but not in a playing role, the Turning Stone tells Niko Tamurian.
The Turning Stone also said that they will announce Woodsâ?? role in the tournament, along with his replacement, in the next day or so.
