The trial for Clayton Whittemore has been pushed back until the end of March.
WHEC in Rochester reports that the Monroe County District Attorney's Office says it's still waiting for a decision on whether Whittemore is competent to stand trail. It's specifically waiting on the results of a psychological evaluation. The results of that could change the charges against Whittemore.
Whittemore is charged with murdering his girlfriend Alexandra Kogut in her SUNY Brockport dorm room in September 2012. He told police he "snapped" after an argument with Kogut and then beat her to death with a curling iron.
