Two arrested after DeWitt bank robbery

Two suspects were arrested after a bank robbery that happened at the Bank of America at 401 Nottingham Road Wednesday.
Police say that a woman entered the bank just before noon and handed the teller a threatening note demanding money. Officers say she then showed a handgun.
The suspect, 23-year-old Daniella Pierre, then ran from the bank and got into a light-colored vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money. Police say 24-year-old Timothy Sholtz was driving the getaway car.
The suspects were caught a short time later by Onondaga County Sheriffâ??s Deputies, Syracuse Police and DeWitt Police in Syracuse.
Both were charged with second degree robbery, third degree grand larceny and criminal use of a firearm and were taken to the Onondaga County Justice Center on $100,000 bail.
No one was hurt during the robbery, according to police.
