Two arrested after selling firearms to an undercover officer in Oswego

Two Syracuse area men were arrested after selling firearms to undercover officers in Oswego.

Police in Oswego say an undercover officer set up a deal to purchase two assault weapons from 21-year-old Kiel S. Dudley, of East Syracuse, and 21-year-old Anthony T. Longo of Liverpool.

Several hours later, Dudley and Longo met the undercover officer in a parking area, north of Leto Island, along State Route 481 in the City of Oswego.

Officials say Dudley and Longo sold the officer a loaded GSG (German Sporting Gun).22 caliber assault rife with an attached silencer and a loaded Izmash Saiga .223 caliber assault weapon in exchange for cash.

After the purchase was complete, officers arrested Dudley and Longo without incident.

Dudley and Longo are each charged with two counts criminal possession of a weapon, two counts criminal possession of an assault weapon, two counts criminal sale of a firearm, one count criminal possession of a weapon.

Dudley and Longo are being held at the Oswego City Police Department awaiting arraignment on the charges.
