      Two bank robberies in two days in Manlius and Fayetteville

      M and T Bank in Fayetteville

      Manlius Police are investigating two bank robberies that happened within 24 hours of each other in Fayetteville and Manlius.

      On Friday at around 12:38pm, police say a lone male suspect entered the SECNY credit union on 115 Fayette Street in the Village of Manlius and demanded money from the bank teller. The suspect attained an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene. No customers or bank personnel were injured.

      The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, wearing a dark suit jacket and pants with a light colored hoodie, a ball cap with a red or orange colored bill, dark shoes, and a light multicolored scarf wrapped around his head.

      Manlius Police are also investigating a bank robbery that occured at M and T Bank on 500 East Genesee St., in the Village of Fayetteville this morning at around 9:05am. Police say a lone white male suspect entered the bank and demanded money from the bank tellers. The suspect attained an undisclosed amount of money and then fled the scene. No customers or bank personnel were injured.

      The suspect is described as a white male with a thin build, and last seen wearing a dark suit jacket and pants, light colored hoodie, a ball cap and a light multi-colored scarf wrapped around his head. Police say it appears to be the same person that had been involved in the above robbery at the SECNY credit union on Friday.
