Two charged with theft of Fright Nights tickets
CLAY, N.Y. —
Two employees of a recycling plant have been charged in connection with the theft of Fright Nights tickets, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff's office.
Matthew Euson, 46, was charged Thursday with petit larceny and criminal possession of a forged instrument in the third degree, deputies said.
Tiqinn Simpkins Daley, 26, was charged Thursday with criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree and forgery in the third degree, deputies said.
The pilfered tickets were taken from a recycling plant in Clay, where they were sent to be destroyed, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies said, both men are accused of removing several sheets of tickets from a plant conveyor belt prior to them being destroyed, with the intent to sell them.
The sheriff's office was first contacted after the director of Fright Nights, Grazi Zazzara, found separate ticket sale ads on Craigslist and Facebook.
Both men were released on appearance tickets and are expected to appear in court at a later date, according to the sheriff's office.
