Two men have been charged with Murder in the 2nd Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence after Corning Police discovered a man's body in the kitchen cabinet of a vacant mansion.

Corning Police were called to 222 Pine Street around 6 p.m. on Friday night on a report of an open door.

Officers found no signs of anyone in the home, and left. The officers returned the next day to check the home in daylight, and discovered the body of 28-year-old Phillip J. Lough in a large kitchen cabinet. Lough's last-known address was in Bath.

Corning Police and State Police worked to develop information on the case, and arrested two males on Sunday morning.

Officials arrested 20-year-old Ryan Jon Morrow, of Corning, and 23-year-old Jacob Andrew Horn, of Painted Post.

The investigation into the case continues.
