Two men charged following investigation into string of Camillus daytime burglaries

Police have made two arrests in a string of daytime burglaries in Camillus and the surrounding areas.
Over the course of a month, Camillus Police detectives recovered several pieces of stolen jewelry, financial documents and other personal items.
The investigation led officers to Jeffrey A. Severance, of Solvay, and Adrian J. Whiting, of Syracuse.
Severance is charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of grand larceny and one count of violation of probation. He is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center on $90,000 cash bail or $180,000 bond.
Whiting is charged with burglary and grand larceny, and is being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $5,000 bond.
