Two shot after argument at convenience shop in Syracuse

Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that happened at about 11:30 Friday night at the Quick Fill Express on the 2900 block of East Genesee Street. Responding officers found a 25-year-old man inside the store who had been shot after getting into an argument. He was treated at Upstate and his injuries were not considered serious.

Police were called to Crouse Hospital shortly after, where 19-year-old Rahmel Griswold walked into the emergency room with a gunshot wound.

Following the investigation, Griswold was arrested and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and possession of marijuana.
