Two Syracuse teenagers arrested after robbery

Two teenagers are arrested after a strong armed robbery in Syracuse.

Syracuse Police responded to the complaint at the 500 block of Roberts Drive just after 4 pm Thursday. They found a 13-year-old boy who told police his cell phone was stolen from him when he was walking in Onondaga Park.

He says two males threatened him and hit him before taking his phone and running away. Police got a description of the suspects and found them nearby. The suspects are both 16-year-old boys from Syracuse.

They were both charged with felony robbery and sent to jail. They are scheduled to be arraigned Friday in Syracuse City Criminal Court. The victim did not seek medical attention and his cell phone hasn't been found.
