Two 15-year-olds were arrested today after being caught in the act of burglary, according to Syracuse Police.
Officers responded to an alarm at a home on the 400 block of Spring Street at about 12:45 Saturday afternoon.
When the officers arrived, they saw the two suspects leaving a side door of the home, one of them had a laptop under his arm.
When they spotted the officers, one of the suspects ran while the other surrendered.
The second suspect was caught after a short foot chase.
The investigation showed that the two teens forced their way in through a window.
Both were charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal mischief.
The teens were taken to Hillbrook Detention Facility and are not being identified due to their age.
No one was home during the break-in.
