Two teenage males were arrested after attempting to break into Langford & Foster in Syracuse early Monday morning.
Syracuse police received a 911 call around 4:05 a.m. saying there was an attempted burglary in progress on the 200 block of Seneca Street. While police responded to the scene, 911 reported that the suspects were fleeing on foot and provided descriptions of both the suspects.
Police said they located two males on the 1000 block of West Fayette Street matching the description provided. Further investigation revealed these were the two teenagers attempting to break-in at Langford & Foster.
16 year-old Jorge Quintero and 16 year-old Brandon Hemingway are charged with attempted burglary, a felony, and criminal mischief and possession of burglar's tools.
Police said the teens never gained access to the store, but did do damage while trying to get in before being scared away by a neighbor.
