Two Utica women arrested for cashing stolen checks totaling more than $14,000 in New Hartford

Two Utica women are charged with grand larceny after an investigation into the cashing of two stolen checks.
New Hartford Police Officers arrested 25-year-old Gina M. True, of St. Vincent Street and 24-year-old Amber C. Meyers, of Erie Street, after they say the women stole more than $14,000 from the First Niagara Bank in New Hartford by cashing two stolen checks.
The women were arraigned and released until a future court date.
