Undercover operation leads to prostitution charges for 4 women in Utica
UTICA, N.Y. —
Utica Police say four women are facing prostitution charges after a month-long undercover operation.
Police say the department's Tactical Unit and Special Investigations Unit conducted undercover operations targeting prostitution related activity within the city of Utica over the course of the last month.
As a result of those operations, police say the following people have been charged:
- Sarah Dyke, 33 - charged with Prostitution, Loitering for the Purpose of Engaging in Prostitution and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
- Shacoya Lanaux, 27 - charged with Prostitution and Loitering for the Purpose of Engaging in Prostitution
- Ashley Baslow, 30 - charged under a Bench Warrant with Prostitution and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance
- Francine Dennis, 50 - charged with Prostitution
