UPDATE: Ice-angler safe after lost on ice on Oneida Lake

A man who got lost while ice fishing on Oneida Lake has been safely returned to the shore.

According to Oswego 911, the man was ice fishing on Oneida Lake when wind picked up and caused white-out conditions. The man was disoriented and called emergency crews to help him get off the ice.

Oswego 911 said the West Monroe Fire Department dispatched its air boat to an area of the lake off Constantia and found the man, returning him to the shore safely.
