Utica Illusionist Leon Etienne and his assistant, Romy Low, talked to Jimmy Fallon about their act, and experience on the NBC show, "America's Got Talent."
Etienne and Low appeared on "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" Thursday, after the NBC 3 News at 11, and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
The duo was recently brought back as a wild-card pick on "America's Got Talent," but did not garner enough votes to advance to the Top 12. Etienne and Low were dismissed in the results show, Wednesday night.
They say they are grateful for the support from fans across Central New York, saying it is the force that's propelled them so far.
When Fallon asked what was next for the duo, Etienne said, â??We have a contract with Holland America Cruise Ships whoâ??s been working with us throughout this AGT process that we have to finish and then anythingâ??s open. Weâ??re developing our illusion show to tour across the country, and maybe, hopefully, one day a national television special featuring stage magic again.â??
Fans have left well wishes for the Etienne and Low on Etienne's facebook page, where the act has consistently updated people on their progress. In a message posted Wednesday, Etienne writes, "I can't keep up with all the messages!! Thank you ALL so much!"
The duo have been performing together for eight years.
You can watch "America's Got Talent" on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC 3, as the remaining acts compete for $1 million dollars and their own show in Las Vegas.
