Valor Day planned to help vets, military families

Saturday, Sept 28, an information/help session is planned for veterans, military and military families at SU's College of Law

'Valor Day', scheduled for Saturday, September 28, will offer veterans, active duty or reserve service members and immediate military families to get help with a variety of services and concerns.

Thomas Caruso, a law student who runs VISION, a help program for veterans, is organizing the event, which offers free legal, financial and counseling services and advice as well as access to 23 veteran-oriented organizations.

Caruso says the SU College of Law is in an ideal location, across from the VA Hospital. There's also free parking for the 10am - 3pm event at SU's Irving Garage (141 Stadium Place) as well as food and refreshments.
